OceansWide 2010 Fund DriveOceansWide Needs Your SupportDear Friend of OceansWide: Today I write you from Antarctica, preparing to witness sea life never before seen by humans, part of my journey to bring the latest marine science back to the students of OceansWide. As I reflect on the year in this remarkable place, I am filled with gratitude for all you have done to support OceansWide. Together, we are fostering the next generation toward a better world. I invite you to view our OceansWide video to reconnect with the sights and sounds of all we have accomplished. As we prepare programs for 2010, please join me in investing in the promise of these future ocean stewards and conservationists with a tax-deductible, 2010 gift. In 2009, we were able to successfully offer:
In 2010, with encouraging feedback from participants and the Maine community at-large, OceansWide seeks to expand outreach to schools throughout Maine. With a Mobile Classroom carrying a small ROV, control room and other gear, we could introduce students to underwater exploration, no matter where they lived in the state. Also, many families have asked for an extended summer camp and, with your support we will be able to make this happen! This will include expanding into an over night camp for our ocean explorers. Your gift will help continue the life-impacting programs of OceansWide. I ask you now, to please make a gift and be part of the OceansWide vision for 2010.
